On Saturday, November 9, 2019, Pope Francis accepted the resignation of Bishop Stephen Chmilar of Toronto and appointed Bishop Bryan Bayda (Saskatoon) as the Apostolic Administrator of Toronto [See Vatican News Bulletin].
